Cherritos Coffee | Vienna Roast (Dark Roast) | 100% Arabica Coffee | Freshly Roasted
Description
The Vienna Roast is one of our darkest roasts. This originates from Central and Eastern Part of the country, where post-roasted coffee was particularly flavoured. Out of the roaster this coffee has a wonderful full body and rich flavour, with sweet but bitter notes. It’s a classic roast style that’s great for those who like a strong, full-bodied cup with a lively finish. Cherritos Vienna Roast Coffee is a delightfully dark roast with a robust flavour. It’s not amiss to compare the notes and full body to dark chocolate. It’s a classic blend that should be savored every morning cup after cup. The Vienna roast is one of our darkest roasts, just short of a French roast. Vienna roast has great body and low acidity and is a great choice for coffee drinkers who enjoy a strong cup, with the characteristic bittersweet notes. Best enjoyed with milk. This is a classic dark roast, with low acidity and enticing bittersweet notes. It’s a great choice any time of day and pairs particularly well with vanilla flavored breakfast drinks. If you enjoy dark roasted coffee, this is a great roasted quality coffee. If you are looking for something that has a lot of complexity, instead of an easy to drink cup make this one for you. The best part about this coffee is the combination of chocolatey and bitter notes, which make for a great combination in general, so don’t be afraid to experiment with this one! Our beans are carefully selected and roasted by professionals who love coffee as much we do. Every Single Bean strives to push the boundaries of what is possible with coffee.

I was hesitant to purchase this coffee because it was my first time. My online ground coffees have previously failed me. Because I use a French Press, the grind must be just right: not too coarse so that the extraction takes forever, and not too thin so that the press cannot sieve. Anyway, depending on how strong one likes their coffee, the normal extraction time for Vienna Roast coffee in a French Press with near-boiling water is somewhere between 2.5 and 4 minutes. The flavour is robust, yet there’s a tinge of chocolate in there, as well as the earthy power of the coffee. The flavour was neither harsh, acidic, or overly intense at any point. Highly Recommended.February 19, 2022
